Autumn

This is a pastel and colored pencil on orange pastel paper. So, I learned something during this picture, that I shouldn't use the front side of the paper because I do not like how that texture looks when you add colored pencils. By the time I realized this i felt I was so far in the picture that I didn't want to start over. Now that it is done, I don't mind it so much. I actually really like this picture. I was inspired when I was taking pictures of the trees to draw something that reminds me of fall. I then decided to make four pictures of ladies that are inspired by different seasons, so look forward to the rest of those!
